Physical Ethanol Trading
Lansing is one of the largest traders of physical ethanol in the US, with our volumes increasing outside of the US.  We have built our business on service and performance, as well as being a competitive with pricing.  Lansing has built a solid physical network of storage and transloading sites which, when coupled with our large tanker car fleet, have put us in a position to deliver on our obligations in a reliable fashion. 

Ethanol Services and Risk Management
Lansing has assembled a very skilled group of people in the ethanol arena, and offers a variety of services to ethanol producers, as well as trading physical ethanol.

- Ethanol merchandising with flexible pricing alternatives

- Physical Ethanol cash trading

- Rail car subleasing opportunities

- Corn Origination

- Distillers' Grains Merchandising

Originate 100% of the corn into facility
- Originated by truck or rail at least expensive basis value available
- Arrange/manage all freight related to corn
- Mix and blend are for the plant's account

DDG Marketing
- Market all of the Distillers' Grains produced
- Manage 100% of Distillers' Grains transportation logistics
- Recommend wet/dry production streams
- Establish/maintain market values (wet or dry) for broader range of markets
- Develop key end user customer contacts, and create a loyal customer base
- Take responsibility for approved A/R for Distillers’ Grain customers
